Person County is a link to bicycling highways throughout North Carolina. The west to east trail is 503 miles with the north to south route 188 miles. Person County's route lies just south of the Virginia border with the winding bike trail passing through beautiful rural scenery. "Share the Road" bike signs mark the route to alert motorists to the presence of cyclers.
